Susie Abromeit was born in Boston, MA and was a star athlete by the age of 16, when she became a top-ranked tennis player (No. 6 in the US), receiving a full tennis scholarship to Duke University. Once at University, Abromeit set her sights on acting and music. She is quickly on the rise as part of the highly-anticipated Netflix original series, "Marvel's Jessica Jones (2015)", which premiered on November 20th, 2015. The series will follow "Jessica Jones" (Krysten Ritter), who after a tragic ending to her short-lived Super Hero stint, is rebuilding her personal life and career as a detective who gets pulled into cases in New York City. Susie plays, alongside Carrie-Anne Moss, as her colleague and eventual lover. Her character is sensual, interesting and dynamic and will keep her audience intrigued every step of the way. Abromeit made her film debut as the lead in the Lionsgate film, Know Thy Enemy (2009). Soon after, she began to book roles in films, such as Sydney White (2007), Sex Drive (2008), I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell (2009), Beatdown (2010), Setup (2011) alongside Bruce Willis, and the blockbuster Battle Los Angeles (2011). On the small screen, Abromeit recurred in Devious Maids (2013), One Tree Hill (2003) as well as Tyler Perry's The Haves and the Have Nots (2013). Guest appearances have included CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2000), Battle Creek (2015), Rake (2014) and Supernatural (2005), among others.
